Here's a few things we've done in the shop we really want to share.

Mitered Borders and Pieced Backing

We recently finished up our Christmas Chapel Quilt from My Wandering Path in Good New Great Joy and wanted to share the pieced backing we did for our sample as well as our tips on mitering the pieced border.

The Jumbo Chapel block finishes at 44" square and could easly be customized with embroidery names or additional quilt blocks

Dressing Gown Quilt

from Tilda's World

A decorative kimono-style dressing gown is the feature block in this beautiful quilt. The Chic Escape fabrics, with their lush floral motifs and chinoiserie designs, are perfect for the kimonos. The fabrics were inspired by people undertaking brave renovations of old French chateaux. The quilt uses a single block in four different colourways in an edge-to-edge arrangement, with a background of a Classics Basics stripe.
